Wrap Up Blog Questions

These are some questions that we were told to answer to wrap up our independent reading unit.

• What did you like to read before this unit? What do you like now? What reasons can you give for that preference? Before this unit I liked to read fiction and fantasy. After this unit I don't really feel like I have changed my preference after this unit. I think I like to read fiction and fantasy because it takes me to a place where I can otherwise never go.
• Before this unit, reading was difficult for me when_____ I had lots of distractions and lack of time.
• To solve these problems, I can use the following strategies: I could make time in each day to read and try to read in a place with minimal distractions.
• How has your attitude toward reading changed (or not) over this unit? Why? I don't really feel like my attitude towards reading has changed over this unit because I already love reading so this was one of my favorite units.
• What was the most important change that you experienced in this unit? I learned a bit better about how to picture and comprehend the story and theme.
